    1/4 throttle bog

    by mxracer41 » Thu Apr 01, 2010 7:11 pm

Hey guys, I have an '06 CRF 250R that has a pretty noticible 1/4 throttle bog. The bike is pretty heavily modded. It has a ported and polished head, CP hi-comp piston, Tokyomods billet cam, FMF Factory 4.1 exhaust w/ megabomb header, Ti Xceldyne intakes and stainless exhausts, Twin Air powerflow kit, and the carb has been modded as well, not sure what was exactly done to it though. When the bike gets somewhat hot (after riding 4-5 min), it starts to bog around 1/4 throttle, but when you get past that, it's flawless. What can I do to get rid of this? Change the pilot to a bigger/smaller jet maybe?

Oh and it has a Pro Circuit (JD) CDI if that makes any difference regarding the jetting.
