Jetting Question - are jets interchangeable between models?

    by dsrpilot » Mon Mar 29, 2010 11:13 am

I have a question about the physical size of the jets in the CRF series.

I've just done the power-up kit to my wife's 150, and will be doing my 230 shortly.

Can I use the original jets for those bikes in my son's CRF100 we just bought? Will they fit?

    CRF100 - OEM are 35 Pilot and 98 Main

    CRF150 - OEM are 40 Pilot and 95 Main

    CRF230 - OEM are 42 Pilot and 102 Main

So I was thinking of moving the CRF100 Pilot from the 35 to the 40 I have left over from the 150, and then the CRF100 main from 98 to the 102 I'll have left over after doing the 230 kit.

Not trying to be cheap, just don't know why I'd leave all these old jets laying around If they could be used on another bike.

Looks like the 150 pilot fit in the 100. I tried it today when cleaning the carb on the 100.

I didn't try to run it with the bigger pilot in just yet. I'll save that for when I have more time to tinker...

Finally got time to mess with it and the pilot jets are interchangeable, but the main jets are not between the 80/100 and 150/230.
