Hi I have a 05'crf450r that i had purchased a jd jetting kit for a while ago than never installed it due to not being able to ride. I'm getting back into racing now and i wanted to install the kit but i lost the directions/ recommendations that came with the kit. On the bike i have installed hot cams stage 1 cam, ported head , angle cut valve seats, high compression piston 13:5:1, procircuit full low boy exhaust, boyesen quickshot and i ride in newengland so usually sealevel to 1200feet or so, can anyone help me out with where to start? Also any fuel experets out there? i know its always a great debate but oxgenated equals way to much money so was thinking somethin leaded at least 100 octane...thanks in advance

It likely will not be a tough bike to jet at all.
I'd start with what JD said and ride it. Adjust the fuel screw then re-evaluate. Doug

I would first remove the boysen quick crap cover. They are junk and going to cause you problems.

Get the directions from JD again, and start at his base line. Many times a modified engine is more volumetrically efficient so you will lean out your jetting. You dont always go richer! Keep that in mind
