    Needle jet clip

My CRF 09 model is running a bit rough in the higher gears and hard to start. (the bike is 2 hours old) it has been suggested to move the needle jet clip down one?
would the advice be right and how can you get the jet out without removing the whole carby?

you dont have to completely remove the carb to change the jets in the bottom but i'm not sure about the needle. Just remove the subframe and loosen the carb boot thats attached to the head. You should have enough clearance to pull the carb back and work on it then.

You should be able to get to the Needle by only taking the tank off. You only need to remove the top cover plate on the carb to expose the nut that holds the needle.
