Hallo from Greece!!! newbie here!, nice site, i'm greatfull i found it!!
I own a beawtifull 05 250x with the baffle removed, airbox cut, backfire screen removed, after market high performance air filter and pink wire mod..
i recently rejeted my carb as (no kit)
150 main jet
42 pilot jet
air screw 2,5 turns out.
Bike runs and starts just fine.
My question is if it is nessesary to change my needle clip posission (from #3 to #4) ????? or i'm just fine with theese jets?
if i do #4 does it influences the engine's reability-life time?? (except trial i also ride my bike every day in town so life/service-time is important to me..)

i ride at sea leavel at 40-90 temperature
Sorry for my english  ..
Thanks!!!!!

Welcome to the site!!

Greece is a most beautiful and interesting country, full of history. I lived in Glyfada as a child, I'll never forget my time there.

Moving the needle to the 4th clip will richen the mix at low throttle lifts. It will not adversely affect the reliability or longevity of the engine. It may even increase it as it will run slightly cooler.

I have an o5 and with no pink wire mod and screen in. Other than that it was the same. When I rejetted with JD I went to a 158. I would think you would be be able to go to a 158 as well. With the screen out maybe even a 160.
