Try opening the fuel screw 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn.

You'll need an electrical 22 awg butt connector to do it unless you've changed it out to an adjustable screw.

Got the JD Kit on mine.
due to the manual which is
not really detailed
i got with the #185 main jet
and the blue needle for temperatures
under 50F.

Without any other changes starts up
one first kick @ 50F outside 400F Evalation

kicked also 30 times to get any reaction
now 1-3 and runs really good, just 1 hour on it

I was in Munich in 1996...Hmmmmmm...

I may have had one too many Paulaner Hefe-Weißbiers...but I can't remember.

I was staying with a buddy of mine who is a famous artist in a little town near Garmisch. I even climbed Mt Wank...uh-oh...shouldn't have mentioned that...

Welcome to the site Rookie!!!

I just pick up an 09 on Wed. and the mechanic told me to twist the throttle 3-5 times with the choke out and then kick with no throttle. Although I haven't rode it yet I started it twice since and had no proplems.
