I'm looking to obtain an adjustment tool for the "D" shaped fuel screw on my 2007 450X. Does Honda (or anyone else sell the special tool needed for that? I'm aware of the Aftermarket adj. fuel screws, I'm just looking for the tool.
Thanks,
Eric

I believe people are using a red electrical butt connector to get it out. Then replace with an adjustable FS.

Thanks,

There is a special tool. But the Electrical connector does it for free. I think someone even used a pen cap to get one out. Man the 07's are kinda a PITA... lol

Yea, I had it all set in my mind how I was going to attack the jetting and needle based on the pics in the instructions. When I got it all opened up, it was all different and threw me for a loop. We have this big ride planned for this weekend and I all panicked!
It's all falling into place now with everyones help.
Thanks again,
Eric

Maybe Gevo will pop in here and tell you how he pulled his out the hard way. Im sure it was an all day event, which included pulling the motor, rear shock, and swingarm.
BTW no problem with the help, most of us dont mind at all. You always have a few who complain about everything.

In the service manual the Pilot screw wrench for years 04-06 is 07908-4730002 and after 06 it is 07kma-mn9-a100. I hope this helps I need to adjust mine as well I have a little bog and some backfire from running a little rich, however I will try the electrical connector first.

We are going up to ride the Denton-Leota DNR trails just South of Houghton off Old 27. MY dad has a place about 10 miles from the trail head. Fingers crossed it doesn't storm all weekend!

That's funny cause we pray for rain all weekend when we go up north! Dust sucks. You should be ok though, just stick to the single track and grab a poncho! Have fun...wish I was headin north to ride.

Thanks. Maybe we'll meet up on a ride some day?
Take care,

Absolutely, and the opportunity is approaching. I host a big trail ride at my cabin every Spring & Fall. You are welcome to join us. Good group of guys...there are a few rules that must be followed for that weekend though. PM me for details.

Sounds great! I'll get with you soon on the details. I only have 3 or 4 buddies that ride and they can't get out all that often (My wife's pretty cool like that). Something like that would be sweet!
Talk to ya soon!

And if you ever want to do some motocross, we ride once a week or so.
