Kinda wish I's bought the JD kit instead!
Everyone who has it loves it,and they sure don't have any bogging .
Moose has no R&D department and dyno with exhaust gas temp and content analysis, I don't kno wwhere these flakes like Moose and Dynojet get their "jetting" specs, it's pretty shameless if you ask me.
Most get good results without messing with the leak jet.
You bet.
The bike currently has the largest main jet from the kit (CJ134) and the pilot is DPJM048
That isn't close to what you'd run with a JD kit.
The kit is really a handful of main jets for most any eventuality, a pilot that seems to work great for about everyone, and two needles. You wind up using only the red one, but the needle is the center piece of any JD set-up, that's what makes the set-up work so well and that's where all the R&D money is spent, JD really has that down.
Changing the leak jet when installing a JD set-up in a 250X has not shown to be required at all. With what you've done to your bike, for instance that pipe and the other mods you've done... it should run very, very strongly top to bottom with no bog at all. Doug
