    2007 CRF 150 jetting

    by CRF150mom » Mon Jun 02, 2008 12:25 pm

I'm looking for advice with the jetting of my son's 2007 Honda CRF 150R. Any suggestion on what size jetting is needed for improved performance? It's currently stock. Thank You

The stock needle is on the 3rd clip. Stock pilot is a 40. Stock main is a 135.

The cure for the hard start is both jetting and procedure.

    Change the set up to:

138 main, 45 pilot, 40 leak jet, o-ring on AP linkage, grind rivet flush, fuel screw at 2 turns out.

Use this starting procedure: fuel on, choke on, 3 good twists of throttle,
1 or 2 kicks it will fire up.

Thank you for the advice ~. I guess I shouldv'e looked around more as I did find other threads relating to this topic. I am hoping this will help the flattening out problem, meaning it just seems to lose power quickly in each gear. If that makes any sense. I really appreciate your advice. Hope to do this tomorrow. We don't have too much of a problem with starting, on occasion when it is warm though. Thanks again, any other advice on modifications you know of would be great!

    Agent,

Would this also be the setup for Cal City/Randsburg? (2600 - 3000 ft alt)

    Thanks Paul!

Yup. It'll work perfect up there.
