Do My Uprages Require a ReJetting?

    by chopshop » Mon Mar 24, 2008 7:03 pm

Here is a list of the uprgrades i just put on my 04 CRF250R. I ride trails mostly. Do i need to re-jet? if so, what?

    -K&N Air Filter
    -Stage 1 HotCam
    -Rev Box
-Big Gun Evo X (w/ spark arrestor)
    -I run a 450R size rear tire.

i live at 1500ft but often go up to 3000ft. I live in southern california so weather ranges from 50F - 100F

    Thanks!

so should i just buy a Stage 1 DynoJet Jetting kit?

or whats the best way to go. I guess the goal is a bit more fuel to compensate for the increased airflow from the K&N.

Personally, I would ditch the K&N filter. It's not a good system for the kind of dust you'll see.

Next I would go with the JD Jetting kit over the Dynojet anyday...

    i know nothing about jetting
    .
All the more reason to buy it.
    $72!!!!

Sell the rev box, that's about as much value as a paper weight.
You won't find many people less than 100% happy with
what they bought from JD Jetting.

We have heard of nothing but bizzare, out of touch recommendations for CRF's with Dynojet.
As far as do you need to, break out your owners manual and look at what spark plug color can tell you. Doug
