I have been reading the post on here about jetting with pipes. I have been working on my bike this winter for the new season. Today, I changed the spark plug that looked to be running a little lean. I did not even think about changing the jetting when I put on a yosh pipe.

From what I can gather, I should run a 170 main replacing my 165 JD main. Is this all I will have to do? What about the pilot jet?

Mine had a Stage 2 Cam and your pipe, and 162/45 gave me a tan plug and very crisp throttle response.
Where's your needle clip position TJ ? What's your pilot now ? Maybe you could show us a picture of that plug.
The main is only going to show the results of pretty darn high rpm running. Doug

The plug doesn't look and gray white as it does in person. I don't do alot of upper rpm riding as i usually ride single track.

Pilot is currently stock at 45, I think that is stock.

I think your color blind bud !
Of course part or most of the white ceramic is going to be white for a long time, but gray is okay, and what I see is a real light tan....that's a perfect plug. A lean plug, like dangerously lean is white/ash white, and thats not what you have there. Nobody running your combination has ever been too lean.
If you are riding primarily at a third or half throttle or less it doen't matter if your main is a 132 or a 170. We depend on the needle more than any other circuit, with the fuel screw and pilot next.
That things perfect TJ, and I'll bet your bike runs that way, doesn't it ?

Doug, Thats why i have to run everything by you guys first! I look at my book pics of a lean plug and I think it looks like my plug.

The problem is I don't have enough experience seeing things that aren't right. If I could see examples of bad plugs, etc, I could reference it when I look at my stuff!

The bike ran great last year and I can't wait to run it this year too. I am so sick of the winter blah.
