    250X jetting problems

    Just rejetted my 06 CRF250X. Bike ran fine for about 300 yards, started sputtering and died. Went back and checked my installation and the pilot had fell out. I reinstalled it and now the bike won't idle, is running like the choke is engaged. I have turned idle all the way in and bike still won't idle or run right. Any suggestions?????

    when pilot fell out and you reinstalled, did it have all its goodies with it? Spring , washer, o-ring, in that order from bottom?

    The pilot screw never feel out, it was the pilot jet inside the carb that came loose. I checked all of that tho though the fuel screw was intact with all parts

    Jackreed2005, when you jetted your bike did you keep the carbs on the bike?

    yes the carb stays on.

    Yep never to carb off. The bike is running ok at 1/4 throttle and above but will not idle now. Any suggestions. IF frustrated at this point
