CRF250R Only starts with 1/2 Choke

I have an 04 CRF250R. Its kinda weird to start, it seems it only wants to start when its cold with the choke pulled halfway out, which I have to hold while i kick the bike, its pretty tough to do, it wont start with the choke pulled all the way out. Any suggestions? Thanks!
