    What's the reason that a JD Jet Kit is not available for this model ?

    Not sure, but honda offers a "power up kit" for this model.

    Here are the part numbers for the kit:

    16012-KPS-921, CRF230F Full Power Needle

    below is the park number for a new main jet that is also recommended when installing the new full power-up needle.

    99113-GHB-1320, #132 Main Jet

    When you install the kit you need to ensure you removed the exhaust baffle and the intake box snorkel.

    don't have the part numbers now but...
    #132 main jet
    #45 slow jet
    power-up needle
    needs hi-flow air filter, with intake snorkle and exaust baffle removed with these jets.

    and from what i've noticed about the JD jet kits, they're for the FCR carbs.
