How bad is it to remove the carb from a 06 450? Any precautions?

There a pain because of space constrictions but once you get the seat, subframe and plastics off, maybe even the rear shock upper support it aint' to bad. T
here are some parts you don't want to take apart! Can't remember what right off (electronic air meter of something, major brain fart?)
What is it you trying to do? Jetting? You can take out the needle and slide and bowl and jets- if you good you can do it without removing all the crap above also.
Good LUCK!

Just loosen the boots and rotate the carb so you can reach the bottom of the float bowl easier. Remove the bottom bolt (drain) and you should be able to access the main and pilot jets from there. No need to remove the float bowl. You will have to remove the tank and seat to get to the top of the carb to look at the needle.
