    Elevation / jetting / 06 crf450x

Well it's been awhile fellas but I'm back with a request for opinions. I got the JD kit awhile back, love it. But it leaves you guessing a bit when it comes to elevation for modified bikes. I have twin air filter (no screen), side vents cut, full T-4 exhaust. Currently running 170 main, red needle 4th position, fuel screw out two turns. This runs good but I am going to ride Ducey-Ershim trail this weekend and the elevations range from 6,000-10,000 ft.
I checked the JD kit and it says to go with 160 main, 3rd clip position but is this recommendation for stock or modified? I'm also thinking I should probably turn in my fuel screw to 1 3/4 - 1 1/2 turns to keep from being too rich.
    Advice??

Your best bet is to call JD and ask hin. He will be happy to help you out.
