    powerblade?

    hey guys do i need to adjust my carb jettin to insert a powerblade?in my crf 250 ? :?: :?:

    Depends on if you have jetted at all. If you have and it's correct, I wouldn't think the Powerblade would necessitate a change . Their claim to fame is air speed, not more air. Personally, though, if you haven't purchased it yet, I wouldn't bother. Read the review here on that item.

    Wow Joe!! Nice find...I never read that review before.

    Gordon sure was a gifted writer. Didn't let the fact that he just got ripped off for a $ 100 sway his write up.

    If it were me, I'd be ranting and raving about wanting my money back and or somebody's head on a stake.

    That type of aftermarket device seems to have technical merit, but the seat of the pants dyno, with one exception, hasn't proven out. There is one member that claims that he like the better low end that he thinks he is getting. I don't know for sure since I haven't actually used one, but I have heard the negative comments enough from those that have to believe them. Since I am a gadget guy anyway, I was almost lured into trying one out. Of course, I also do my homework and discovered it is not worth the money IMO.

    Yeah Gordon gave a really nice report on that in spite of it coming up short.

    I've had one in my 450's for years and I don't think they do . except take up a few hours installing :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
