New White Bros e2 jetting suggestions?

    by SDBRIAN » Sun Feb 11, 2007 10:52 am

Just recieved new white bros e2 pipe for my crf450x, and was wondering if rejetting was absolutely necessary. If so what jets and how much am I looking at for rejetting. Thanks.

You may want to check with White brothers. I run a Pro Carbon on a 04 450R and rejetting is not required.

Put it on and run it. See what happens. Have you done any other mods to the airbox or anything? If not and you dont want to totally rejet you can probably get away with maybe just lowering the clip on the needle a position or two and opening the fuel screw a tad. but again ride it first and report back.

typically if your bike is jetted correctly and your only addition is a slip-on you likely will not need to rejet. however, if you are already lean or on the edge then you will need to rejet.

I bought the bike in DECember and have not done anything to it yet, so it is all stock.
