    Stock CRF 250R -07 HELP

    by FAiJT » Sun Jan 21, 2007 12:39 pm

Hi guys, Im far ways from home now since im Swedish.

To my question, i run a stock CRF 250R 07.
As all of u know it bog. I decided to buy a new ACC pump cover, installed it and fired the bike up. It started on the first kick, but the idle snap thing is waaay worse now then with the stock cover. I went up to the largest main jet i got with the stock package. Same problem tried to adjust the air/fuel screw. Doesent do any good. I know all of you's will say "buy a JD kit" but i cant get a hold of one here in sweden ATM.
Right well, i just might have to order it, but then again i could just throw the freggin acc pump cover in the trash go back down to the stock main jet and suck on the low end/idle snap bog.

(sealevel, not very warm, at this time it's snow and -10c to +14c summer time it's like +12c to +29c I know the deal of a larger main jet when cold and vice verca.)
Should i change the position of the needle clip ?
Just point me in the right direction someone.

    Best regards
    Rickard - Uppsala, Sweden.

If you have trouble off idle, you might need to turn the fuel screw out, or get a larger pilot if the FS is turned out more than about 2-1/2 turns.

You could also try the Accelerator Pump mod that uses an O-ring. It's described in the JD kit and there are posts in these forums on it as well.
