For JD Jet kit does anybody have any jetting suggestions for my 07 450X. The elevation that I ride at is 992ft above sea level. The bike is mostly stock, with the exception of the air box and after market pipe.

have you already installed the kit? if so, tell us what you've got and how the bike is responding.

I have not installed it yet nor have I placed the order from you. I just want to make sure that I have a very good set of instruction/advice on the jetting. But I want to make sure there is a very close if not exact setting for my elevation (992ft above sea level), once I am convinced then I will place my order from you.
The local fellow's are having trouble getting there machine's jetted and tuned. So, I wanted to make sure this is the best way to go.

the jd jetting kit will absolutely handle your altitude and beyond...14,000. i've got one installed in both my bikes (450R and 450X) and i'm at 1200 ft...and the jd kit provides spot on jetting.
here's a how-to on installing jets and needles:

Trust me and all here who have followed the teachings of the Gospel of Jetting according to JD. The kit comes with S-P-E-C-I-F-I-C-S as to what modifications you have and what jets, needle and clip placement to run. The Revernd JD includes altitude ridden in the instructions. Why people would get the kit and NOT FOLLOW the instructions is beyond my admittedly limited comprehension.
