    well, the first thing to do is check the valve clearances. if they are within specifications then you don't have a valve issue causing hard starting. if they are tight then you'll need to replace them as mentioned with the seats cut. if you don't have someone local who can do this work you can ship your head to us and we can do the work.

    We'll that's not an option. Logistical and import export rules nightmare here. Will have to figure something out locally

    so I took off the qs3 and reverted back to the stock jetting. There was no fuel in the tank, put some in and it was a real pain to start but once started it ran like a boss. I'm gonna try and start it again today to see if the valves have moved again.

    In the meantime I bought a 2013 SXF250 too. Seems very tame compared to the CRF.
