Good job TXSUT, I was getting ready to spring that.
One of my other interests is the Great Apes, so much so that I'm on a volunteer list that when a new born Chimp,Gorilla,Orangutan or Bonobo has to be without it's mother for one reason or another I will occasionally "baby sit", which I just love to do.
Besides human babies God has put no other animal cuter than a baby great ape, especially the Orangutans.
    http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/oranguta ... o-baby.jpg
The guys on here that know me know I'm far,far from being some GreenPeace creep.
However, what's happening in Indonesia with starving and emaciated Orangutan mothers being shot out of trees with their baby holding onto them, then the baby being stripped off it's dead mothers body to be illegally sold is inexcuseable and brutal. It is all because of their homes being flattened and turned into palm oil plantations.
The pigs who run the plantations have been known to be offering bounties on the Orangutans, so they have been hacked to death with machetes, beaten while their babies are screaming, burned alive, you name it.
We've got a two year old in Columbus with a missing hand, courtesy of the machete it's mother was murdered with.
So yeah, spare me the 'benefits' BS of bio-fuels, it's a fairy tale and unsustainable.
Then we have the ignorant savages in Africa who buy "Bush meat", when in fact it's 3-4 times more than chicken, beef or pork and is often Chimpanzee . This exposes the mental midgets to a lot of nasty diseases yet they think it gives them magical strength and powers. Looking at the state of their continent I beg to differ.
By the way, 'Chimp Eden' is hosted by someone who certainly qualifies as a 'Village Idiot', watch it only for humor. The guy doesn't have two brain cells to runb together, he's always squealing about how he could be "torn apart"
It was great when he accidentally shot his helper with a tranquilizer gun in the leg. "Orangutan Island" is outstanding, as is "Growning Up Orangutan" if you see it listed in Animal Planet if any of you are interested.
Sorry for the rant, it's just a passion of mine.
Hey, the chimps and Orangutans are smart enough to train to use say, cross bows  Or shotguns.
That would add a little challenge to the hunting. Hmmmm. Doug
