Hi, Can anyone help please. Just got a 2016 crf250r the mapping switch was not working so I replaced it but it still doesn't work. The switch lights up when you first start it and goes out after a few seconds and than that's it. Has anyone come across this problem before ?

When you start the bike the switch IS supposed to go out after a few seconds and not flash any more ..... are you saying when you try to select a specific MAP it does nothing ??? , as what you are describing sounds normal functioning to me ...

There is a second switch on the right hand side of the bars which is blue, It lights up blue on start up and goes out after a few seconds. You should be able to select 1 of 3 maps and it should flash 1 to 3 times when selected but it doesn't.

Hi Again.

Problem solved, Idle speed was slightly to high and it would not allow you to change maps. Once it was knocked down everything works fine.
