Mil light 250r 2016

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me! I’ve got a crf250r 2016 the mil light is permanently on very faintly. When u kick it over it starts and comes on bright as should do but the goes faint and not go off. There’s no blinking as such for a code. It also can be hard to start something. Fingers crossed someone can help lol!

Question ???? .... Did this happen after you washed the bike ???? ..... If so , I would guess water got inside the switch (known issue) and it is causing a ground loop and that is why the light is on dim ......... That would be my first guess ......

Yes mate it was thank you very much! Just getting use to the bike still only had it 6 months. Great help.
