250x, i understand reverse threads & use 10mm socket but it will not come loose. Reverse means clockwise to remove right? Are there any tips... Help please!

If i remember correctly, you have to jam the gears so it doesnt spin the gears its connected to inside the case. If you do so, be VERY careful not to break off any teeth/damage anything. You are correct, they are left-hand threads (Clockwise to loosen, due to the direction of rotation of the impeller). The torque on the impeller is only 9 foot pounds so be creful not to over tighten when you put it back together. So, since you are talking about taking off the impeller, you are replacing the oil seal for the bearing?? or just the seal for the pump cover? let me know which one and i can help you further. Ps dont lose the little brass colored washer behind the impeller
