How to remove the factory stickers off the bike.

Hey guys, newbie here. (New at owning a bike, but I have ridden for a few years on my brother's bikes.) I just picked up a 2001 Honda XR200R. I know, it's not a CRF, but pre-CRF 230 if you want to call it that. The original owner only took it out a few times, and it's very new. However the factory XR stickers on the gas tank have air bubbles under them, and is half way peeled off. I think the owner tried to remove it, because he bought new replacement stickers for them. He gave me the new stickers when I bought the bike. I need some advice on how to remove the factory stickers with out messing up the plastic, and how to best apply the new graphics in it's place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also this bike is bone stock. Are there any upgrades someone would suggest me looking into to get a little more out of it? Let me know, and thank you for your help.

    Welcome to the Site!!!

Use a hair dryer on the warm setting to remove.

Use 50/50 Windex and water, spritzed on the surface, before setting the stickers in place. Use a plastic squeegee to smooth them once positioned correctly.

I'll give it a shot. Thank you a lot for your input.

I look forward to learning all the new topics this site has to offer. My brother told me about this site, and how informative it was. Glad to see he was right. :)
