Does anyone have any pointers or suggestions on easy replacement of brake pads?

    They are simple to replace.

Remove the bolts and brake disc cover.

Push the caliper pistons all the way in to allow
    installation of new brake pads.

Check the brake fluid level in the brake master
cylinder reservoir as this operation causes the
    level to rise.

On the front brake, remove the pad pin plug and
    pad pin.

    Remove the brake pads.

Install the new brake pads to the pad retainer
    securely.

Push the brake pads against the
pad spring, then install the pad pin.

Tighten the pad pin to the specified torque.

    TORQUE: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)

Install and tighten the pad pin plug to the specified
    torque.

    TORQUE: 2.0 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.5 lbf·ft)

Operate the brake lever to seat the caliper
    piston against the pads.
