hey, so i just got the boysen quickshot 2 cover for my 05 CRF 250 and i was wondering if there was an easier way to install it or get the carb off rather than taking the seat and gas tank off and moving the shock reservoir.

Any shortcuts/advice to this process at all are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

the problem is the screws that hold the cover are soft like butta. if your screwdriver isn't perfectly fitted (read: straight) you'll strip the head. if that happens you've turned a 15-30 min. job into a much longer job. here's a link to a review we did of version one. it has install pictures and information you might find helpful:

ok, sorry if this is too much of a sidetrack on this topic, but what exactly is the difference between the Boyeson Quickshot, and the Quickshot "2"???

I've already got the Quickshot v.1 on my '04 crf250, so just wondering if there is any significant improvement on the second one or if it's just for later model crf's... ?? any answers are appreciated.

great site here too by the way, I've been a lurker for a while, but just decided to join after placing an order at the goodies store! ;)
