do you mean 250 four stroke if so i would race that its fun to ride easy to ride and can easily take on a 125. the crf 250 is an all around great bike. as far as the crf100 getting race ready i would go with a bbr pipe or joker racing pipe. new air filter. and a new suspension maybe put shocks on from a cr80 so you can do bigger jumps and not bottom out. and maybe go with the bbr rev limiter thingy basically it over rides the rev limiter so you can rev it higher then normal. and maybe a big bore kit if you wanted to spend a few more bucks. also you might want to lighten the bike up with lighter materials and what not plus doesn't the crf100 have a drum brake if so i would look into making that thing a disk if possible, one the disk weighs less and anytime you make something go faster it helps to make it stop better im not knocking drums they our reliable but there is a reason corvettes dont have drum brakes!

What type of racing do you want to do? Womens class Moto Cross? enduro? flat rack? desert?

It all makes a diference. Is money a factor? why not buy a race bike instead of putting a few thousand into your play bike?
