I'm looking to re-spring my 09 crf 450 and was looking for advice from people who have done it. I was a little confused b/c stock is 0.47kg/mm per race techs website. having said that another site sells factory connection and the highest spring rate is 0.48kg/mm which doesn't seem much different. Anyways, I was looking for the best place to purchase from with the quickest shipping. I'm 225lbs and just looking to get the correct spring rate

I changed mine on my 09' 450X. I weigh 245 lbs. I put factory connection .52 in front as that was the biggest they make and I put a race tech 6.0 on the rear as that also is the biggest they make. Pretty much I'm one size too small front and rear from what I'm supposed to have. . Stock valves but fresh oils and a few clicker adjustments made a significant difference. Had to stiffen the rebound and soften the comp after I put the new springs in. My hind end thanks me for that. Ahhhhh. BTW I purchased the springs here at crf's only.
