    Rear Wheel Dancing Through whooops?

by no teeth no problem » Fri Apr 13, 2012 11:24 am

I ride fairly aggressive when trail riding and i notice when going through whoop sections for a long distance by rear wheel tends to go from side to side and occasionally sending me to a tank slapper.
Would I need to soften my suspension or make it more stiff? Or just change the response?
    Any ideas?

Could be your riding postion lean back and pinch tight with your knees unless it sand whoops or loamy then stay neutral position over the bike. Then u could try valving of suspension then u could try shortening shock shaft if none of that works then lastly try a lowering link

You could also try changing your rebound settings. It might be to slow and your shock might be packing up.

I ride motocross and I had the same problem. I bumped up my rebound 4 clicks in the rear and it fixed the problem.

Yeah ... if you're hitting them fast, then up the rebound, otherwise the shock doesn't recover fast enough between each woop.
