Doe's anyone else have front end chatter on CRF250r?

    Hi Guys,

Out on the bike today (for the first time) and when loading up the front end going into a burm (quite quick) the front end had loads of chatter!

Is this just a matter of setting it up right?

    Cheers,

    Dal

its an 08 crf250r. Its more the forks bouncing up and down. This only happened in 1 turn which is down hill into a burm on the brakes.

First of all, set your sag. Something between 100 and 105 mm.

Find a place where the trouble is evident and remove 3 click of compression. Try it again, if you see some improvement continu this way until you feel you don't help it anymore. At this point fine tune it with 1 click up or down at time.

If you didn't see improvement in the first step, try by come back in the original position and add 3 more click. Continu like a explain below.

After it, do the same thing with your rebound clicker.

When you finish to adjust the reboud, reajust the compression the same way from the beginning

    Thanks for the advice...!!!

I will give it a go and let you know!.. Great bike though!

Chopped in my 125 smoker and its the best thing I could have done. People say smokers are more fun??!! I had more fun today than I ever had on the 2T.

    Thanks again for your help!
