I'm changing my fork springs and so far so good.
While I was at it, I thought I'd do the damper oil as well, good thing too as it was nasty oil.
Now however, I'm a little confused or just need reassurance.
When I did the damper per the Clymer manual, I filled with 190ml of fluid, worked the rod to get rid of bubbles and then measured it.
Now, after putting the damper back in, it says to invert the tube and release the excess oil. Probably about 40ml came out if that much. Is that right or do I need to pull it apart again and refill?
Thanks!
