Linkage needle bearings - Ok to put back in?

I have an 06 CRF250R. I took the linkage apart to grease for this season, which I've never done before. When I removed one of the internal shafts some of the needles from the bearings came with it. Once I got the shaft out I ended up with a pile of needles on my rag. My question is, can I put these needles back in and call it a day, or is this a sign that the bearings need to be replaced? I don't want to endanger myself with questionable bearings.

Thanks.

The needles are loose in the bearing. They come that way from the factory.

Make sure they are clean and free of rust. Reset them in the bearing with copious amounts of Maxima or Bel Ray waterproof grease.

Awesome, thank you.

That quote is the best thing I've read all day, by the way. :D
