The Stock CRF250R is a MX racebike. (Race-ready). The stock settings are pretty good. The manual shows how to set up race sag and make adjustments for conditions. For 135lb rider lighter springs are needed, and a re-valved suspension is not a bad idea, if you have the money to spend to do it right. Typical settings for a spring that is too heavy would be to soften the comp. and stiffen the rebound, it's explained in the manual. Air pressure should be set to zero, blead the air out on a regular basis, it will pressurize with use. Read the manual, one persons set-up doesn't necessarily work for another. All the baseline settings will require fine tuning for rider ability, weight, track cond. Experiment with different settings and have fun.
