So, I was hovering around 285-300lbs when I had my suspension resprung and valved by Factory Connection on my 06 CRF 450r. I'm currently at 215 and dropping.

Problem is, I don't have the money at this point to have the forks/shock redone and the front is REALLY harsh. Even under braking the front feels like it wants to tuck no matter how light I'm braking.

Is there anything I can do to help lessen the firmness on the front until I have it all redone this fall? I'm used to street suspension where I can adjust my pre-load in and out with ease.

I know it's a band-aid, but I'm hoping there is something I can do to at least help.

Did FC give you back your stock springs? They always send back my parts. If so you should put them back in they are closer than what you have in it now. FC is great about giving suggestions also try calling them for advice, they have all records and can tell you better than anyone. They also re-do valving for customers at a very low cost. What you could try is slowing the rebound and speeding up the comp. The spring is too heavy now so you want to counteract the fast rebound and make it compress faster, if that makes any sense. Congrats on loosing all that weight.
