    damper unit wont seal????

What went wrong when changing the oil in my forks

I put the oil in the damping unit pump it a few times to remove air, then add some oil if need to be, then close it up. What’s happening is the rod looses pressure once i pump it. it won’t eject all the way, also if i were to pump it whilst on its side the oil keeps bleeding through the bleed holes with every stroke until all of it is out of the chamber.

What do you think is happening here, i have done this job with success a few times before but know can’t figure out what went wrong

    Thanks

Tore an o-ring seal or lost one during assembly?
Use only Genuine Interocitor Parts.06 250X Flatlands skid and rad guards. Clarke 3.1 gal tank. Cycra Probends, Rekluse Pro, correct springs. Horn, mirror, brake/tail/license lights and a hanger for the plate. That is all.

the oring around the piston? it looks fine..

is that o ring on the piston the only part that keeps the oil in the chamber?
