What fork oil should i use??

    by Dan_Rowland » Thu Jun 05, 2008 9:13 am

    Hi

I'm changing my fork seals at the weekend. I have an "all balls" fork seal kit to swap in. I weigh about 16 stone and the bike is 05 CRF250r.

Theres many makes available so who recommends what?? Also what weight oil should i go for??

    Many thanks

    Dan

    224 lbs. (or so)

Have you resprung that thing? Might want to think about it.

I use the Maxima 5wt in the inner chamber and recently went to the 10wt in the outer chamber....works great (I'm not a lot different from you in weight.) I don't have factory springs (resprung the bike for my weight.)
