Hey guys, I replaced my springs today with a heavier set. I chewed up the teflon bushing getting the forks apart. I replaced the bushings and put it all back together. I had my local shop seat the fork seals for me.
My question is...Do the telfon bushings come together on there own or was I suppose to do something. I did reference the fork seal rebuild.

You have to use a seal drive to install the outer bushing. However, if your shop was able to drive the oil seal in and have enough room left over to install the retaining clip, everything was more then likely in spec.
