Hello everybody, this is my first day registered, but I've been viewing for a while. Anyway my question is has anyone tested the f2racing unshock yet. I'm thinking of buying one and would like to see a review first.

welcome to the site! i haven't tried it but it seems like it would help keep the spring from binding but i'm not sure that minimal amount of binding will make a significant difference that can be felt while riding. are you having other suspension issues you are trying to resolve?

    again, welcome.

No, there is nothing wrong, just wandering if it did take out the side swapping.

swapping has a lot more to do with rider and terrain and overall suspension setup than the rear shock coil resistance. that's just my opinion though. i have no doubt that as the rear shock is compressed there is some coiling force but i'd have to see some real data on how much that is before i'd be a believer that it can significantly influence suspension control.

I'm running Factory Connections version of that same concept. Granted, it's more expensive. But it does come with a new Preload ring as well.
I believe it works as described. As you compress your spring, its going to bind. With the bearings in there, it allows the shock and spring to react separately. The amount of bucks I paid for valving, etc... I want every advantage I can get.
