    New Front Rotor

    by RODAMP36 » Mon Jan 19, 2009 7:58 pm

I accidently bent my front rotor on my CRF250r 08 changing my front tire and I am looking to get a new front rotor... Just not sure what brand to get and if spending the money on a top of the line product is really worth it... Any input would really help...

    Thanks

If it's not bent very much you can use a 12'" crescent wrench and carefully tweak it back to true. What I do is take my small flat tire irons and sandwich them on bent section and clamp the crescent wrench over them and slowly bend it back. I've totally straightened several rotors using this method. Worth a try first. If not possible you may want to go with an oversize rotor for noticeably better front brake action. Braking products are excellent.
