Go to the hardware store an buy Carabeaners (sp) the same size as the hook on your tie down straps.
Feed them through the loop in the strap that holds the hook and put a zip tie around the carabeaner (sp)
where it comes closest together to keep it from flopping around. This way you don't have to worry
about the hook coming off your tiedown point while you are hooking things up.

I just got a set of Pro Tapers, a little pricy but its holding you $7000 bike. Seems worth it to me!

For the set... They are super trick! Just dont take them out of the box until you are ready to use them, you will never get them back in!!

I like them, have only used them once but so far so good. They clip onto the rings so you dont lose your tie down while you are loading a bike into the truck. Swivel so they are easy to keep from getting twisted. They have a soft strap so you dont scratch up your bars, and they are wide, sturdy, and very long and should be able to tie down anything. They also have a velcro strip to wrap around the loose strap after you have loaded so they dont flap around on the x-way. Plus they look good with the Pro Taper logo on them. Much impressed so far...

They sound really nice, and it's good to hear a review from a fellow rider and not some writer somewhere.

Agreed, I prefer a review from someone not getting paid over a magazine anyday. Plus a lot of magazine reviews, these guys aren't your average rider. They ride constantly, have access to any parts they want, and dont think twice about dropping a couple thousand on mods into their bikes. It's nice to hear from folks who ride once a month, have a budget, and need their gear to work!

Thanks for the info. Going to check out the frame tie downs that sounds like the way to go. Already doing the triple tree deal. At first I was going to use the F & R crash bars but read its not a good idea. With 2 bikes on the trailer, its pretty tight between them. We have one of the first ramp-free trailers, Im sure theyre better now.
Thanks
