    Jaws ,
Don't forget the ca-nooter valve. Very very important. If not properly lubed it wil lock up and throw you off the bike sideways.

The guys in the know over on TT say to run your piston and muffler bearings dry...more better power.

and krisrtch...most of us have installed the Applied Racing Ca-Nooter valve block-off plate. Adds around 2 and 19/32 more HP.

Man I thought I read some where that it added 2 and 21/32 more HP. that extra 2/32 is very important to me. Guess I'll have to do the flux capacitor mod. It's suppose to add 1.1 jigawatts of power to your bike. What is that in Hp?

The police pulled me over the other day. Evidently I had run out of blinker fluid and my lights didn't work.

I didn't mean to sound offensive, sorry HondaRacer. It's the same story with the Diesel guys adding 2-stroke oil to fuel. Will it hurt, maybe not. Will it help, probably not. Thanks though...sometimes these things need to be discussed.

Haha, its okay. But still mods, if you guys deem this unsafe, please, by all means, delete the thread? I dont want someone seeing this, doing it, adding too much oil and blowing the engine jetting out.

And what parts might those be?

The valves. It lubes them, so if one gets a lil' sticky, the oil will allow it to drive better.

I know I am resurrecting this old thread by saying this, but I been having this discussion with a friend who is an ex-factory mechanic and he had confirmed that even the mighty Pro Circuit crew runs premix in their race gas. If Mitch does it, there is validity in it. Those guys don't do anything if it doesn't meet the standard.

Some of the early Hondas (2004) ran premix during the Finke desert race that year over here in Australia. Those that did, didn't succumb to valve problems. That was related more to non-compatible seat material than requiring lubrication.

The 2 stroke brigade swear by it though.

And for real power you need a hydrosolator with a CRFs Only sticker on it. Use the GM one as the ford one will give you an evil streak to your bike.

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas

Well, I will buy into the idea of some wear protection, but not the more power nonsense
