Hi, my 2006 crf450x cut out while riding, it would start from a kick then cut straight out, not rev or tick over.. just fire a couple of times.
Took it home, wouldn't even fire, no spark at plug.

Tried replacing plug, no spark.

Test coil from the spade teminal to the green wire on coil. 000.1 ohms

Test coil from spade terminal to the plug cap.. 10.9 k.ohms

how do i test the stator and exciter coil??

This is and Australian bike is the wiring different?

Yes/No ?? ... As far as I know the Aus bikes are wired different than the U.S. models as they are street legal I believe , where the U.S. models are strictly "off-road" from the factory .... so I would assume that the stator output would be different/more .........

If you can find the output specs , I can post pics from my Service Manual for doing the actual testing , as I would think the test would be the same , with just different readings ......
