CRF450X Intake valve installed height?

    CRF450X Intake valve installed height?

    Hey guys,

    Would anyone be able to help me out with a spec for intake valve installed height for my crf450x?

    Matt,

    Not sure I understand your question about 'installed height'. Valve stem protrusion on the backside of the head is the critical specification for an installed valve. You need a special tool to measure accurately enough to matter. However, if you can set the valve clearance with a reasonable sized shim you have enough valve stem protrusion. Not sure if I answered your question. If not, let me know.
