R muffler installed on an X

    I have an '04 CRF250X that is stock and Im about to do some carb mods for a better low end performance. I have a chance to buy an "R" muffler pretty cheap rather than something new. Not too concerned about noise as I am performance, any thoughts or advice on this ??

    You need to post this in the 250Xforums , this is the 450X forum , i do know on the 06 450X only a 05 450R muffler will directly transfer/fit

    Not sure if this is the same case for the 250X , but i am sure someone in that forum has tried it

    The R will fit, but only from an '04-'05. You will need to open the airbox and re-jet.
