The next size up from IMS is the 4.0 gallon with the built- in shrouds. I don't really like the look of this, but some may not mind it. Or in your case, you may need it...

You could always go for the monster 6.6 gallon from acerbis! Man, that thing is a tank (no pun intended) for sure!

I would carry a 2 liter platypus before i got the big ugly 4.0 or 6 gal IMS. The Platy's have been proven to work great and never leak.

Its a bag really designed to carry water by hiker's. I have used one quite a bit when i had my CR to carry fuel. They are very strong and collapsible. There have been alot of reports of guys using them to carry fuel over on TT. I know TattooArt used one quite a bit too. There was a guy who left gas in one for like a year to test it. He said every once in a while he would toss it in the air and let it hit the ground. It never leaked. Awesome pouch to carry extra fuel if you ever need to. I had a little crash with mine in my camel back and rolled on it and it was fine. I did try and put it in my tank as soon as possible though.

I have 2 of the 2+ liters ones. The lid locks so it dont leak. I got mine from a place called Bentz Ski Chalet here in Bakersfield, but im sure you can find them where they sell hiking stuff.

here it is so everyone can see, functional as hell, but as much as we all do not want to admit it, it is a little bit of a fashion show out on the trail, ill stick with my oem tank thanks.

Bringing this one back from the dead. I don't see THAT much of a difference and the price break is around $100 now. Anyone actually have problems with the clark? nutcracking?

    I have a Clarke on my 150r and 250x.
I don't have an IMS, but the Clarke tanks seem fine.
I did have a fit problem on my 250x and Clarke worked with me to resolve it.
