I will be buying new bars, grips, levers, throttle tube and possibly clamps in the near future.
There used to be a cockpit thread. Understanding that it may be gone I was hoping we could recreate it.
I would like to see how everyone is set up. Please post a pic.

Here is what I'm runin'. I am 6 ft.
Pro-Taper CR high, ASV levers and perches, Applied triples (22 mm), Applied sub-mount, Scott's dampner, Trial Tech comp, Spider M1 grips.
Here is another pic, not to great of the controls, but you get the idea. The grips in this pic are Renthal dual compound. I like the Spider M1's WAY better.

Since you guys are on the subject, what is the benefit of this triple clamp setup? I have rode a friends bike with this setup, but was paranoid of wrecking his bike so I wouldn't call it really riding and only noticed the highth difference. It was comfortable while standing but I tend to be lazy and sit on that thing they call the seat. Clue me in on this big mystery of mine cause I was comtemplating a switch.

The Applied offset triples give much better response as opposed to the stock offset due to the change in rake. Much better for any trail conditions (sharper, more controled turning) They also give a much better feedback to the rider due to the fact that they do not allow as much flex as the stock units. They are stronger than the stock triples. When I first installed my Applieds, I could not beleive how much better the bike felt and how much easier it was to navigate the tight stuff.
And last.......the bling factor is off the charts.

Help! I'm A first time post'r with a bar question. I tweaked the stock bar up at Rowher last weekend. The hit was relatively mild, I layed it down on the left side climbing a hill, my knee took the brunt of the impact, along with the bar. The left hand side of the bar bent forward. When I replaced it with a new Pro Taper (along with the 11/8th mounts), the bar still seems to sit "crooked" to the right. I've doubled checked my installation, and made sure I torque'd the nuts/bolts to spec. But its still angled to the right. Am I missing something? Should I replace the rubber mounts also? I'll post a pic if needed, but everything seems straight visually, so I don't think it'd help.
Thanks in advance- Pete

All you probally need to do is loosen the rubber mounts & straighten them out. If that doesen't work then loosen your triple clamps & twist your forks back.
