Camping @ Georgetown with the future of the sport!

Finally have a moment to download some pics of the camp trip @ Georgetown over the New years Weekend!

We arrived at 10:00 am Sat morning and our usual camp site was taken. We got lucky and found a better one just up the road. We stayed through Tuesday Afternoon, I would have stayed longer but the Mod parts for Cristy's CRF250x from Ken were on the doorstep calling me to come home and install them! See the X rated heading in the 250x forum for Mod pics.

I am one proud Poppa, Logan my 3 1/2 year old rode a pw50 solo for the first time and whats more incredible is that he can start the bike himself!!! Sebastian my 6 year old rode some pretty tough trails on his CRF50 and did fantastic.

Here are some pics of the weekend!

Sounds great Mr Smith. You can figure Placerville plus a half hour for drive time.

I have sweet loop that is between 3 and 4 hours without pictures and it is kick a$$!

Let me know. they do close down for 48 hrs after they receive 1 1/2".. of rain. Right now the conditions are perfect, very little slop and tires hook up good!

We went there yesterday. Did a bit of a tumble on some ice. The riding was excellent other than that.

Where do you guys camp at?

We camp at the staging area called "Mace Mill". It is nice there most of the time, not too busy! ;) No Quardtards!

Thats good. I fractured my ankle this weekend cause of them being on the wrong trail. They dug some nice fat ruts, the ruts filled in with rain water and froze and a small skiff of snow = fat boy down hard. We camp at the bald mt side, but that place is a zoo on the weekends.
