    Stabilizer

I dropped my bike off today at House of Horsepower in Eugene, Oregon to have the suspension setup for the XGiant! While I was there, I saw this sweet looking damper, designed by the same guy that engineered the Fastway F.I.T. handguard system, and the same guy that started Rooster, the radiator guard folks ala ~. It looks pretty trick. I just thought it was cool. I actually sat on the bike pictured on the website and messed with the damper. Nice piece of work. Here are a couple of pics:

Comprable to the Scotts. I have a Scotts so I didn't pay attention to particulars. It just looked quite cool, and you know it is well engineered given this guys past products. The only unit that would sway me is if someone put those cool works Showa units into production. They are quite small and sit behind the headlight or number plate, down in between the forks, just in front of the steering head. A lot of factory guys (most) use them. They are just well hidden and difficult to see in photographs.

Yes!   This is an extremely busy time of the year for me at work, plus, this guy can do this for less total money and he has MAJOR experience here in the Northwest. I have been quite impressed with our conversations. I have talked with several of his customers and they are thrilled! He had a bike in there that he is building for a guy in Florida. The guy that developed this stabilizer had him test it out, and also speaks highly of his work. O.K., all that was to compensate for the fact that I wimped out!!

I hear ya. At some point you have to decide if it's your thing or not. I am a tinkerer and am notorious for doing things that end up costing me more in time and do-overs; so I completely understand.

Very ugly if you ask me. I love my Roosters though. Just ask DD, the Roosters are a top notch product. :D

According to those that have ridden with it, it keeps the front end feeling very light. I liked the low profile design, and they do have a sub mount option. That said, I will not be trading in my Scotts any time soon!

... Now I have that blasted song stuck in my head... "Transformers, more than meets the eye.."! For those of you that know me, I am a veritable jukebox. I sing almost constantly, and am always embarrassing my wife because I will sing in the grocery store or wherever. It Doesn't take much to get a song stuck in my head! My co-workers will thank you Smash!!
